Anna

Anna is a true Newton Abbot local and she is absolutely thrilled to make a positive impact on her community! She's been running her own freelance hairdressing business in town for quite some time now and she absolutely adores the social aspect of it all. She cannot wait to welcome you all to The Teignbridge Community Project.

Colette

Let me introduce you to Colette - a true Newton Abbot local! With her extensive experience working in local primary and secondary schools, Colette has gained a wealth of knowledge that she's eager to share. Currently working for a similar provision in Torbay, Colette has seen firsthand the incredible impact their work has had on the community. She's thrilled to bring this worthy cause to Teignbridge and can't wait to make a difference!

We are delighted to offer Newton Abbot it's very first Pocket-friendly Pantry.

We know how hard things can be, when all of your bills have increased and your money just isn't stretching as far as it used to. Filling the cupboards with those essentials is becoming a lot harder then it used to be. Our pantry will be available very soon to give our residents a helping hand.

Skills Centre

Bridging Gaps, Building Lives

***NOW OPEN***

Our Skills centre is jam packed full of exciting new crafts and hobbies to get involved with. Whether you fancy a bit of textiles, hairdressing, baking, gardening or woodwork, we can offer you all of that and more. Our skills centre is open to those with additional needs, if you are struggling with your mental health, if you are no longer a part of a mainstream education setting or if you are simply a bit lost and would like to make some new friends, get a new routine and learn some skills.

Please note, we are offering projects and activities, we are unable to offer courses/qualifications

Book your session here!

Our sessions run Monday - Thursday from 9.15am - 2.15pm and are £10per hour. You can book consecutive sessions if you prefer longer sessions.

We will be offering after school sessions soon, keep checking back for updates.

Our Journey so far......

Hey Everyone!

Welcome, we are all about community here and we have been listening to what Newton Abbot needs. We have had a lot of support already for some incredible organisations in Teignbridge, of which we are so grateful. We have had a few hurdles to get to where we are now but we are very excited to say that everything is moving in the right direction.

2024 - We cannot wait to open the doors to our inclusive skills centre. Please keep checking back for more updates.
